Instructions
  1. Peel, quarter and core pears. Cut quarters in half and sprinkle with lemon juice.
  2. Melt margarine in a skillet. Add pears and coat with the margarine. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until pears soften just a bit. Add syrup and cook another minute or two. Serve plain or sprinkle with pecans. Spoon over a vanilla frozen dessert, if desired.
