Jennifer Kooney

Ms. Jennifer Kooney dedicated her 30-year career to the banking industry. Most recently, she was the NYC Metro Area Group Manager with the Commercial Banking division of M&T Bank, specializing in Healthcare Banking. Ms. Kooney holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she co-founded the Women in Management club, served as an officer of the Financial Management Association, and served as an assembly member of the Graduate Management Association where she co-founded the “MBA Make-A-Difference Day”. Ms. Kooney also achieved membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society for AACSB accredited business programs.

Ms. Kooney is passionate about people and giving back to the communities in which she lives and works.  She participated in the Leadership Westchester program, served as M&T Bank’s liaison with Volunteer NY, has been a mentor to several participants in the M&T Bank Relationship Management Development Program and currently serves on the Westchester County Association’s Healthcare Consortium. She served for six years as a board member with the Child Care Council of Westchester, was co-president of the CET Elementary School PTA for two years and the Croton-Harmon Special Education PTA for six years, had been a catechist at The Holy Name of Mary Parish in Croton-on-Hudson for twelve years, where she also served on the Pastoral Council for three years. Ms. Kooney is currently the Croton-Harmon High School Booster Club Parent Liaison for the Boys Volleyball, Wrestling and Golf Teams. She is also an active Committee member of Croton-on-Hudson’s Scouts BSA Troop 28, a merit badge counselor for the Greater Hudson Valley Council and she currently serves on the board of the Hudson Valley Alzheimer’s Association.

Ms. Kooney lives in Croton-on-Hudson, New York with her husband, Paul, and their two sons.
