Jennifer Kooney

Ms. Jennifer Kooney is a Group Manager with the Commercial Banking division of M&T Bank, specializing in Healthcare Banking.  Currently based out of M&T Bank’s Metro New York City area, she has nearly thirty years of banking experience with M&T Bank.

Ms. Kooney holds a bachelor’s degree and MBA from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she co-founded the Women in Management club, served as an officer of the Financial Management Association, and served as an assembly member of the Graduate Management Association where she co-founded the “MBA Make-A-Difference Day”.  Ms. Kooney also achieved membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society for AACSB accredited business programs.

Ms. Kooney served for six years as a board member for the Child Care Council of Westchester.  She also served as M&T Bank’s liaison with The Volunteer Center of the United Way and she has been a mentor to a number of participants in the M&T Bank Relationship Management Development Program.  She was co-president of the CET Elementary school PTA and the Croton-Harmon Special Education PTA for six years, had been a catechist at The Holy Name of Mary Parish in Croton-on-Hudson for twelve years.  She is an active Committee member of Croton-on-Hudson’s Scouts BSA Troop 28, Holy Name of Mary’s Pastoral Council and recently joined the board of the Hudson Valley Alzheimer’s Association.

Ms. Kooney lives in Croton-on-Hudson, New York with her husband, Paul, and their two sons.
