Anyone who spends even a few minutes with Deb can feel her passion and genuine enthusiasm for wellness.
With 24 years of experience as a full-time trainer, nutrition coach, wellness speaker, and now meditation teacher, Deb brings a depth of understanding that is both rare and impactful. Shaped by what she describes as a polar-opposite upbringing, she is most well-known for uncovering and resolving the missing puzzle piece that unlocks her clients’ full potential.
Her programs include 1:1 virtual strength training and/or nutrition counseling sessions, weekly small group virtual strength training sessions, monthly workout program design for intermediate – advanced lifters, and her signature 360 degree online wellness program REFRESH that includes strength training, nutrition, psychology and mindfulness.
Deb earned her BA in Psychology with honors from the University of Connecticut in 1997. After working in tech recruiting in NYC and serving as a junior partner in a start-up, she transitioned to the wellness field in 2002. She founded her first training and nutrition company over two decades ago and has since worked full time as a nationally certified trainer and nutrition counselor with individuals, groups, and corporate clients, both in person and virtually. Deb also recently completed a two-year international meditation teacher training under Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.
An accomplished endurance athlete, she has competed in natural bodybuilding, the NYC Marathon, many NYRT races, the Danskin Triathlon, and a 150-mile MS cycling event. Today at age 50, her fitness routine mainly consists of lifting weights, playing pickleball, and hiking.
After 25 years in NYC, Deb now lives in Nashville, TN with her husband, teenage daughter and pup.
