During this 20-minute weekly session, we’ll de-stress, rejuvenate and recharge the brain. Awaken & Energize is inspired by the practice of Indian Kirtan Kriya (pronounced KEER-tun KREE-a) which has been practiced for thousands of years by people around the world.
Clinical research has shown that this non-religious practice can be a powerful tool for preventing or stopping Alzheimer’s disease, increasing all aspects of cognitive function, (perception, thinking, reasoning and remembering) and reducing stress levels while improving short term memory. Even those who are not experiencing cognition issues will benefit from this healthful exercise.

Vibhu Nagral, a Sharp Again board member, will be leading the Awaken & Energize. Vibhu is a wellness and lifestyle medicine professional with over 20 years of global experience in health education, yoga therapy, and coaching. With a career in both the US and India spanning private practice, corporate workshops and consulting with doctors/hospital networks, her current focus is brain longevity therapy. Her mission is to help the aging population improve cognition through yoga, mindfulness techniques, and evidence-based holistic health practices.
