Dr. Lenherr is board-certified in Family Medicine and has been practicing for over 25 years. Between 1999 and 2011, she was the owner and lead physician of Healing Arts Family Medicine, an integrative practice in Rochester, New York. She moved to California in 2011 to care for a family member and soon became frustrated with conventional medicine-both from the patient’s and the practitioner’s perspective. In 2014, she began a two-year sabbatical, engaging in an intensive study of functional and environmental medicine, diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease, and traditional healing practices of yoga and mindfulness meditation. After years of being a primary care physician, she now uses a functional medicine approach to treat those with chronic health issues who are not improving with conventional medicine. Currently, Dr. Lenherr is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), and the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS). She practices in Chatham and Rochester New York.
